1. Dilute before you dispense
Instead of squeezing liquid straight onto a greasy pan, keep a small mixing bowl or bottle with 1 part dishwash to 4 parts water near your sink. Because Miss Chemist is concentrated, this diluted mix still cuts grease effectively for everyday dishes — full-strength is best saved for really stubborn, baked-on grease.
2. Use a scrub brush, not your hand
A soft brush or scrubber spreads the formula across a larger surface than your palm can, so you use less liquid to cover the same number of dishes — and it's gentler on your skin too.
- Wet the brush first — a damp brush foams up with far less liquid than a dry one.
- One squeeze per 4–5 medium dishes is usually enough for daily washing.
- Re-wet, don't re-squeeze — if the foam runs out, add water to the brush before reaching for the bottle again.
3. Store the bottle upright, cap closed
Keep the flip-top nozzle fully closed between uses and store the bottle upright, away from direct sunlight. Heat and light can thin out the formula over time, causing it to pour out faster and lose some of its grease-cutting punch.
4. Refill, don't re-buy, when you can
